Christmas Day...

I really thought the boys might let us sleep in this year, considering that they could literally sleep past noon on any other morning, but, they did not. In fact, Roen called me at 6:57 saying he had been up since 5:30, had already gotten up, dressed and of course, done his hair!

Roen got a gaming PC, a gaming chair, lots of cologne, shoes, golf stuff and lots of other little goodies! Remi got another gaming monitor (because he 'needed' a third one) a new watch, shoes, a motor model kit, and more gaming accessories. After seeing what Santa brought, they spent the morning gaming while Micah and I fell asleep on the couch to Christmas Vacation. What a peaceful little morning! 

After we woke up, I went to check on the boys, and Roen had taken every single thing upstairs and had put it all in it's place. He is such a tidy and organized little guy and I was so proud of him for doing this! On the complete opposite end of the tidy and organized spectrum, lives Remi in some far away land. He had taken nothing but what he wanted to play with upstairs and when I walked into his gaming room, it had been hit by an F5 tornado. The only sliver lining was that he had installed his wall mount and wall mounted monitor along with his new LED hexagons. He is one handy little guy, but goodness, he has zero tidiness when it comes to his creativity! It must be noted that he did clean up his area before he would let me take of picture, so at least he cares and can get organized when needed!

We ate a late breakfast, Remi spent the day putting together his new motor model, Pops came over for a bit and then later that day we let the boys open their gifts from us! We ended the day with black-eyed peas and cabbage- we ate our good luck for 2025 a little early because we had a little New Year adventure planned! 

It was such a wonderful day, restful, cozy and filled with the blessing of being together.

*And in case you are wondering, Roen, had all 18 Reese's eaten in 6 days, lol!
