Wednesday, was a really fun day for the boys! The PTC put together a field trip for the elementary to go see The Polar Express at our local theatre. The kids had the option of wearing pajamas- something the boys refused to take part in- and headed off in buses to have snacks and watch the movie with classmates. Because I was helping put this together, I got to be up at the theatre in the mix of it all. Which also meant I got to harass the boys with my camera!
This is the Kindergarten, 1st grade, 5th and 6th graders all ready for the show to begin...
Later that evening, Santa came to visit on our street. We met at a house down the street and had hot cocoa, treats and a little visit with Santa. No mall, no lines, just Santa and with friends...
What a great day we had! I just love this time of year, where everything we do is about family and putting smiles on each other's faces!

Lots of fun times and great memories! Love their picture with Santa! Sure makes me realize just how much they've grown. Keep having fun!
