Christmas Lights...

On Friday, Micah and the boys started hanging our Christmas lights. I love lights on my house and last year, I decided that I wanted to do even more this year. In addition to the house, we did our driveway and I really wanted to do my columns in garland too, but that may not happen until next year. Regardless, I am pretty happy with how pretty they turned out!!

In hopes of getting our very tall 'steeple' lighted, Micah had this delivered, but lighting the 'steeple' proved to be just too high for anyone to be brave enough to tackle. Except for me, and much like the bungee jumping over Victoria Falls, Micah would not even entertain the idea! (he is a bit fearful of heights and a bit overprotective of me)

Micah did take the boys up on it, because what boy wouldn't beg their daddy to go way up high :)

Remi really was Micah's biggest help this year. He worked so hard spending most of his Saturday putting all the bulbs in for the driveway and then putting the stakes in the ground... in the freezing rain!! He may be a stinker, but he is most definitely not afraid of a little hard work!
