Micah and I had decided to go check out the Safari Club Convention in Dallas, while the boys were in school on Friday. So of course, having both mom and dad drop them off was a treat in itself, but the fact that it started snowing on the way to school... well that is just the best thing ever!!
After being informed that school was releasing early due to weather and bad roads, we quickly headed back home to get the kids from school.... we barely made it by the time school let out! In fact, we passed the buses on our way in.
By the time we picked the boys up, it was snowing so hard that Remi declared it a blizzard!! You should have seen the excited in their little boy eyes!
It seemed to make them both hungry because once we got home they both requested a snack- peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, of course! After filling their bellies, they bundled up and headed out with the girls next door and spent almost the entire day playing until they froze, then coming in to warm up and then heading back out, only to do this over and over again!

Those are two tough mudders!! They both are so full of adventure that I bet they wore themselves out that day. Sorry you & Micah had to cut your adventure short but I'm glad you got back safely. I love snow...if I don't have to leave the house until it's melted! Lol. Love y'all ❤️
