FriendsMas

Last weekend, we threw a little Christmas party for the kids with their very best friends.

We started off the evening surprising them with a cute little table set with candy, treats and Holiday goodies. In each seat, they had a set of pajamas- matching, of course! We also surprised the dads with matching pajamas and of us moms couldn't be left out, so we snuggled up in our own matching pajamas too. After everyone got comfy, we ate a yummy dinner from Mendez Mexican Bakery.

Then we rolled out the cookie dough, got out the cutters and the kids cut out cookies to decorate. While the cookies baked, we let the kids open gifts they bought for each other. They were so excited, they could hardly wait. I'm not sure what was most fun for them- opening up their own gift or watching the gift they bought be opened! They drew names at Friendsgiving, set a limit and the kids loved picking out gifts for each other.

After presents, we let the kids decorate and eat their cookies. We had cookies covered in layers of icing and topped with gobs of sprinkles- not many cookies actually got eaten!

We finished the night by loading the kids up and taking them to look at Christmas lights. Not everyone had lights up quite yet, but there were several houses that went all out and that made it all worth it! We had all six kids crammed in the very back of the suburban and what started off fun and cozy ended up being squished and hot. That is when we headed back home where the kids got on palettes and had a big sleepover.

This night really was full of wonderful memories...

Oh what fun it is....this is so cool! The kids really got in to the cookie making. Remi looks like a ninja warrior in that one picture. Super cute from the table down to the pj’s! Thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful weekend! Love y’all 😘
