Last weekend, we sent children off with grandparents, packed our bags and headed up to the Angel Fire cabin! You can't beat the mountains in winter, but the mountains in summer is pretty darn close!
We spent 3 full, glorious days playing games, watching favorite movies (Legally Blonde and Sweet Home Alabama made the cut), celebrating Micah's 39th Birthday, cooking, shopping Red River, golfing, tea-sipping, porch sitting and reading.
The only thing that would have made this trip better would have been at least one more day! The weather was absolutely perfect, each day we had little rain showers and I spent every morning with my blanket and book waking up to the smell of mountain cedar!
