Roen's 10th Birthday Party...

The week after school let out, we finally celebrated Roen's 10th birthday. Roen's birthday's are always a bit tricky because his 'to invite' friend list goes on and on and on!

Besides the boys in his own grade, he has several great buds in the grade below him and then he has adopted quite a few of Remi's friends as his own! I think including him and Remi his invite list was 17 kiddos long (2 couldn't come)!!! You can image how tricky it was to figure out what we could do with all these boys! We ended up getting a giant party bus, and letting him invite whoever his little heart desired! 

We started off the afternoon bowling, snacking and arcading over at PinStack. Several hours later, we loaded back up and headed over to Top Golf where the boys golfed and ate more! The ride home was full of loud rap music, dancing, singing, disco lights and lots of wild, energetic boys! 

I knew a sleepover of some sort would follow the evening if Roen had his say, so instead of having to navigate some staying, and not hurting feeling of those not, I decided to open it up to anyone who wanted to stay. Your probably not surprised that they ALL wanted to stay, lol! 

Once we got home, a big game of flashlight hide and seek ensued, where one kid ended up hurt, one ran into our glass 'screen' door, several others fell into mud, but overall, considering, it was a pretty successful way for them to get their energy out before everyone settled down for Cool Runnings (Roen's pick) for bedtime. 

The next morning, I got up super early, got donuts, boys fed, and by 9,  everyone was being picked up and delivered. It was such a great celebration for our sweet Roen!
