Seaside Day 1...

Our first full day in Seaside was absolutely perfect in every little way!

I woke first, making myself a cup of hot tea, and tip-toed my way out to our balcony. As I watched local vendors setup for the Seaside Farmer's Market, I felt like I was on the set of Gilmore Girls. Once sleepyhead and sleepiest head woke up, we ventured down to the market, stopping at each table along the sidewalk. Little tables that sold pumpkins from local patches,  scented, milky soaps, fresh baked pastries tied up with baker's twine- it was all so perfect I could hardly stand it!

From here we did one of my favorite things in to do in Seaside- bike riding! I placed my Farmer's Market strawberry tart in my bike basket and as we rode through the white picket-fenced neighborhoods, passed the little white chapel,  rode over the Watercolor bridge, the breeze on my face, I thought how this day, this exact afternoon would be my most favorite! I teased Tiz & Bean, that without a strawberry tart in their bike basket, they really could not fully relate to how perfect that afternoon was!

We rode ourselves sweaty enough to where we finally stopped for lunch at the cutest little place called Scratch Biscuit Kitchen. As if the name wasn't adorably scrumptious enough, if you can believe it, they served popsicle mimosas! They literally put a cream popsicle right down in your champagne, keeping it cold and deliciously creamy! I paired my orange creme mimosa with some avocado toast and just like that, it was the perfect brunch for this gal!  You won't be a bit surprised when I tell you that I bought a t-shirt from this place!

After eating, we shopped Watercolor, riding our bikes to different boutiques and then headed on into Seaside where we shopped and rode some more. For dinner, we went to one of our favorites, The Red Bar. This place has live music and a really fun, energetic vibe! After dinner, we ventured for some more fun and hit up a little rooftop bar in Seaside, just across from the square. We had cocktails, people watched, and when we decided it was time to call it a night, we ended the day on the couch, watching, you guessed it, Vampires Diaries and at some point, the strawberry tart even got taste tested- we are a wild bunch, lol!

Day one was perfect! All the pictures are fantastic! That avocado toast looks yummy…minus the fried egg 🤢. Scrambled is always best! I’ve never heard of a popsicle mimosa! Something worth trying. So glad y’all had a fun day and didn’t completely sweat out before stopping for lunch. Thanks for sharing…I’ll be anxiously awaiting Day 2! Love y’all bunches 😘
