The tradition remains, as well as the matching pajamas!
Actually, for Roen, the pajamas are very short-lived, just long enough for pictures! He is my child who is very particular about his clothes!
We let the kids open presents before dinner this year, then had fajitas, followed by the littles making magic reindeer food. And much to Briggs dismay {and excitement}, we had a surprise visit from our favorite Grinch! It is as much fun to watch him being terrified while loving every minute, for us adults, as it is for the youngsters! We all had such a good laugh from their hysterics! I will report that there were no tears this year... just a few punches to the nose when the Grinch got too close! Micah really is such a good sport about it all and loves nothing more than teasing the littles!
The kids are growing up so fast and though these evenings have slowly morphed from Christmas story time and golf cart light viewing to gaming and eavesdropping on adult conversation, I love nothing more than looking back and seeing how it all changes over the years.
I think it's safe to say, another magical Friendsmas with our favorite crew goes down in the books!

The Friendsmas is such a cool tradition for you all! Looking back and seeing how much the kids have grown is awesome. The Grinch has been a great addition!
