This past weekend, Remi and I headed down to San Antonio for the annual Junior Shoot Out. This was our first time to do this shoot and Remi was pretty pumped he was getting to participate. It just happens to fall on the exact same weekend as the Winter Nationals Golf Tournament- Remi getting to shoot was the silver lining of not qualifying for Winter Nationals this year.
The other, silver lining was that we got to have a weekend with Cici & Kim! Mom also hit the road and met us in San Antonio, so it was a whole bunch of spoiling for Remi! He even got him a sushi dinner out of the deal!
Friday was absolutely perfection weather-wise, which made checking in and practicing wonderful! Saturday brought in the cold and wind... it was downright miserable! But we bundled, we had fun and we survived! Remi only shot 49 of 100, so it definitely wasn't his best turnout, but I think we were just all happy to be in the warm car when it was said and done! More than anything, it was wonderful getting to sneak in a visit with family in the middle of February!

It was a blast ðĨ!! And not just the blast from all the shotguns being fired. ðĪŠ Remi took us to a part of San Antonio that I would have never known existed and it was such a great facility. I loved getting to watch him shoot. He wasn’t pleased with his score, but I was impressed. The wind alone was brutal and then the lower temperatures…he did great!! ððŧððŧ. So happy to have everyone here, missed those who were absent, but it was a great time! Thanks as always for all the pictures!! Love y’all ð
