House Progress....

Well, right now, the biggest progress is paint!! Paint, paint, and more paint! 

Probably my favorite painted room so far is my library! I wanted this space to be luxurious, cozy and a bit dark! You know, setting the mood for when I travel away with my literary characters! Add in the stone fireplace and some grey velvet furniture.... I am in heaven just thinking about it!!

This phase has by far been the slowest. There are lots of built-ins, trim work and wainscoting- it will all be worth it, but it is S-L-O-W going. We are just now seeing the light at the end of the paint tunnel and once that happens, it's going to get real fun, real fast. 

Coming up in the next 1-2 weeks, fence in pool, pebble pool and fill that baby up! Sod, sprinklers and landscaping! On the inside, scraping wood floors, staining cabinets/floors, backsplashes, and then on to plumbing and fixtures. This is the part where it all (hopefully) comes together! I'm so ready I can hardly stand it!
