And just like that, Summer of '24 is over! It was probably the fastest summer we've had, but it was great in all the outside, sunshine, golf, fishing, water, sleeping in, late-night kind of ways!
I love that the boys are old enough to fill my up my gas tank and spoil me in this way! I had a Pa that spoiled me rotten growing up and he would be so very proud that they do this! If I have both boys, Remi always takes the lead, but this particular morning it was just me and RoPie, so he had the honor.
Roen not only got a second perm this summer, but he also got braces! I helped paint hay bails with the booster club ( I always do cross country and football), we have already broken in the new putting green and I just love this sweet picture of Remi taking Briggs down to the dock. We have had tired mornings on the way to early morning tee times, grocery store runs for whip cream and Chick-fil-A, lots of backyard lounging with the fur babies and I just had to include this picture of Roen waiting for the doctor to give him his 13 year old well-check... he REEEEALLY struggles to be still and flopped around this table every which way! He checked in at a 97lbs (40%) and right at 5ft (31%).
Now, it's back to cooking breakfast every morning, earlier bedtimes, homework and routine!

It was definitely the fastest summer ever!! I know y’all were super busy, so it really flew by for you. Pa would be so proud of the boys filling your tank. ♥️.
