This trip has been on a countdown for almost an entire year! A week in the Caribbean, at Prince's former beach estate.... count me in! Not to mention, pulling up on the famous purple driveway, being greeted by an entire staff severing purple martinis, while Purple Rain blared over every speaker in the house... again, count me in and take me back!!
Day one, was mostly a travel day, as we didn't even arrive at our house until late afternoon. We of course, got the grand tour, sipped our sips, and were treated to our very first in-house, chef-prepared, family meal... all 20+ of us at one table! This was followed by some late-night swimming and hot-tubbing, which happened to be just steps from the living room!
