A Big Day...

Yesterday, was a big day for Remi!

First, when he got in the car after schocol, he proudly announced that he had gotten another Knight Pride!

His teacher told me he had really good manners and he went on to tell me that he was being extra quiet and picked up trash around the classroom without being asked. I am very aware that the behavior of my children at home is far from perfect, but if they can be around other adults and peers and stand out for good behavior, then I am pretty proud.

Secondly, right before church, Remi got his first loose tooth!

While getting ready for church, Remi had his shirt hanging from his mouth. Roen grabbed his shirt and yanked it.... one day Roen will probably be very proud that he gave his big brother his first loose tooth :) We are still a bit uncertain as to whether it was already a bit loose (and we didn't know) and got knocked looser or if it was just flat out knocked loose. Either way, it is about time for him to start loosing teeth anyhow and I have been anticipating this for awhile now.

Of course, Remi couldn't wait to get to church to tell all his friends and family about his loose tooth. Here is the sweet little drawing his did of himself with a loose tooth (the bottom left tooth)...

And here are some little rocket drawings Roen did at church....

(See all those sweet little smiley faces in the windows of his rockets)

Oh my goodness....exciting times in the Davenport household! Way to go Remi! Second Knight award in his first year. I know y'all are very proud. Their drawings are so cute. Better get your "tooth fairy" funds in place...they may start coming out like popcorn. Love you all!!
